DMV and License Information

California DMVAfter being arrested for a San Diego DUI, you will be faced with two separate proceedings, the courts and the DMV.  It is critical that you contact the DMV to request an Administrative Hearing within 10 days to protect your drivers license from suspension.  You were most likely issued a temporary drivers license which will expire after 30 days, however your driving privileges will be extended until a DMV hearing has been held and a decision made.  If you win the San Diego DMV hearing, your driving privileges will remain active until your court hearing decision is carried out.

We understand how important your driving privilege is to you, and how losing that privilege will have a serious impact on your life.  We are very serious when it comes to this matter and take every possible action to avoid having your drivers license suspended.  For more state resources click here.

What is an SR22?

An SR22 is a form issued by an insurance company that shows you have proof of insurance and have met the minimum insurance liability coverage requirements on your vehicle. It is required by the state of California for drivers who are considered "high risk".
